Welcome to Jay's Junk Removal! By using our junk removal services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Agreement

Services Provided: Jay's Junk Removal offers junk removal services, including but not limited to household items, construction debris and yard waste. Detailed descriptions of services and pricing are available upon request.

Service Area: Our services are focused on Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties. Service outside those areas may be available and may incur additional charges.

2. Booking and Scheduling

Booking: Services can be booked by phone or email. A confirmation will be provided upon successful booking. A $50 refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied to your final bill.

Cancellations and Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. A $50 cancellation fee or loss of the deposit may apply to late cancellations.

3. Pricing and Payment

Pricing: Pricing is based on the volume and type of items to be removed. We provide a free estimate before beginning work. Prices may change based on the actual volume and weight of the items.

Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, check and certain online payment platforms, including Cash App and PayPal.

4. Responsibilities and Access

Customer Responsibilities: The customer is responsible for ensuring that all items to be removed are accessible and that the work area is clear of obstacles.

Access: Our team requires clear access to the items. Access issues may result in additional charges.

5. Prohibited Items

Hazardous Materials: We do not accept hazardous materials, including chemicals, paints and medical waste. Please notify us if any hazardous materials are present.

Special Items: Flammable materials, large appliances containing refrigerants and electronic waste may require special handling. Please consult with us before booking removal of these items.

6. Liability

Damage: We take reasonable precautions to avoid damage while providing service. Jay's Junk Removal is not liable for pre-existing damage or conditions.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Service Concerns: If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us within 24 hours of completion.

Refunds: Refunds are issued at our discretion based on the circumstances and our refund policy.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal Information: We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

Data Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The current version will be made available at the time of your deposit. Customers are responsible for reviewing the current terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
